Performance Preparation

According to your needs, you can agree with the teacher about your repertoire to play. You are responsible to email your music to teacher before the lesson. If you are interested in taking diploma exams such as the ABRSM, your teacher will prepare you and approve when you are ready to book your exam. The STAR Platform may be able to organise your registration. You may also be given opportunity to participate with other students in live mini-concerts and masterclasses.

Lessons

To ensure you have the best teacher to suit your needs, we give you an introductory free 15 minutes consultation. A lesson is either 30, 45 or 60 minutes long. All lessons start on time and are conducted over Skype. You need to make sure you and the technology are ready set before the lesson starts with minim 2Mbps of Internet connection. We run our lessons with strict timing so that we are not late for the lesson after yours, unless the teacher communicates with you accordingly. In case your teacher, after you’ve had less than half-way through your lesson, decides to cancel because of insufficient Internet connection, then your lesson will be rescheduled within a 7-day window.
